The Rabble Paso Robles Zinfandel opens with vibrant aromas of dark black cherry, crushed raspberry, cola, and Asian spice. On the palate, it delivers brambly red plum and ripe dark berries framed by a distinct thread of wet stone and graphite minerality. Aging for ten months in a combination of French and American oak (approximately 25% new) introduces subtle nuances of vanilla and toast while keeping the fruit central and fresh. The wine finishes with bright acidity and fine, gravelly tannins that keep the palate lifted rather than overly heavy or jammy.
