Sampler Pack #3- Rosés Table and Terroir Titans
A $195 Value for $155
The final sampler Rosé Month moves beyond simple refreshment and into the world of "vins de gastronomie." While the previous samplers focused on vibrant fruit and immediate charm, this collection is dedicated to wines defined by their structural power, heritage, and unique geological signatures. From the volcanic soils of Sonoma to the limestone terraces of Bandol and the ancient river stones of Tavel, these selections represent the pinnacle of rosé winemaking. These are bottles designed for the dinner table, offering a rare combination of weight, ageability, and technical precision that challenges the perception of what pink wine can be.
Sampler Includes 1 Bottle Each
Grey Stack 2025 Four Brothers Rosé (Bennett Valley, California)
Owner/Winemaker Patrick Sullivan is one of Napa’s “rockstar” consulting winemakers (Rudd, Paul Hobbs, Lewis Cellars, Peter Michael Wines…) and makes tiny amounts of wine at this quaint winery not far from where he grew up. Just 200 cases were made of this amazing Rosé sourced from the volcanic hillsides of his parents’ “Four Brothers Vineyard,” this cool-climate Grenache Rosé benefits from the intense diurnal shifts of Bennett Valley. The wine offers a high-toned aromatic profile of wild raspberry and blood orange, driven by a sharp mineral core. Its vibrancy and lift provide a precise, domestic counterpoint to the traditional French styles in this collection.
Chateau de Trinquevedel 2024 Tavel (Rhone Valley, France)
This estate is still housed at the 18th-century Chateau that stands as a guardian of Tavel’s legacy, the only AOC in France dedicated solely to the production of rosé. Known historically in the area as the "Wine of Kings," Tavel was a favorite of Philippe le Bel and Louis XIV, and Trinquevedel remains one of the few family-run properties maintaining the traditional, robust style that earned this reputation, not chasing the trendy, lighter style currently in vogue. This is quintessential Tavel, a red wine drinker’s Rosé and crafted from a blend of Grenache, Syrah, and Cinsault grown on sandy soils and quartz pebbles. Following a 24-hour cold maceration, the wine exhibits a deep, translucent ruby hue and a fleshy, concentrated palate. Expect a robust display of ripe strawberry and watermelon, finished with a persistent spicy edge that defines it as a premier gastronomic Rosé.
Sacha Lichine Caves d'Esclans 2024 Rock Angel (Cotes de Provence, France)
The winery’s Whispering Angel bottling is massively popular, but the prefer this smaller production gem, a more structured and textured expression than its peers, Rock Angel utilizes a blend of Grenache and Rolle that is partially fermented in large oak demi-muids. This 2024 release showcases how controlled wood contact can transform Grenache and Rolle into a wine of serious texture and breadth without sacrificing freshness. It is a rare example of a "gastronomic" Provence rosé that prioritizes a creamy, mouth-coating weight and a sophisticated flinty finish. This barrel influence imparts a sophisticated creaminess and weight to the mid-palate, supporting flavors of redcurrant and white pear while maintaining a firm, minerally finish.
Domaines Bunan 2025 Mas de la Rouviere (Bandol, France)
This estate is a pillar of the appellation, utilizing a natural amphitheater of steep, stone-walled terraces that capture intense sun while benefiting from constant maritime breezes. While many Bandol producers lead with Grenache or Cinsault for their rosés, the Bunan family maintains a significant 40% Mourvèdre component in the Mas de la Rouvière. These grapes are sourced from 50-year-old vines rooted in Triassic limestone, a micro-terroir that produces a wine of rare structural density and an age-worthy backbone. It is included for its sophisticated "garrigue" profile—notes of wild thyme and rosemary—and a concentrated, spice-driven finish that reflects the rugged landscape of one of the world's most technically demanding wine regions.
BY.OTT 2025 (Cotes de Provence, France)
As the secondary label of the legendary Domaines Ott, BY.OTT offers the rare opportunity to experience the technical precision and exacting standards of the region’s most prestigious producer, without the Domaine Ott pricetag. The 2025 blend is sourced from the same noble varietals as their flagship estates, benefiting from the same elite winemaking team and state-of-the-art cellar at Château de Selle. It is fermented entirely in stainless steel to preserve the integrity of the primary fruit. The palate is defined by crisp notes of white peach and citrus, leading into a clean, saline-inflected finish that is synonymous with the region.
Michel Vattan 2025 Sancerre Rosé (Loire Valley, France)
Unlike many Sancerre Rosés that are treated as an afterthought to white wine production or as saignée wine in order to concentrate their reds, Michel Vattan manages these parcels specifically for rosé, harvesting early to lock in the 2025 vintage’s vibrant acidity. The result is a wine of incredible aromatic focus, where the delicate strawberry fruit is secondary to a profound, chalky minerality.Crafted from 100% Pinot Noir grown on Kimmeridgian marl, this wine represents the technical precision of the Sancerre appellation. Utilizing the direct press method, it emphasizes high-toned acidity and a focused mineral drive. Delicate notes of wild strawberry and citrus are balanced by a characteristic flinty finish, showcasing the elegance of Pinot Noir on limestone.
