Each month at Taylor's we feature a different wine region, varietal or style of wine.  With this monthly subscription box you'll receive six different bottles from our Monthly Feature, usually 4 reds and 2 white, rose and/or sparkling wines.  Each box, depending on the selections will cost between $125-150 and save you at least 20% off the suggested retail prices by subscribing.

Nagelsforst Pinot Blanc (Baden) Hailing from the Ortenau district in Baden, Germany, this Pinot Blanc (Weissburgunder) is grown on steep, southwest-facing slopes with volcanic residual soils. It is a dry and remarkably focused wine, accentuated by a subtle smokiness and a mineral core that reflects its unique terroir. The nose is enchanting, offering a delicate bouquet of ripe pear, lime tree blossoms, and fresh melon. On the palate, it delivers a robust and lasting impression, with a gripping texture that makes it an ideal companion for roasted poultry or grilled white fish.

Chalmers "Mother Block" White Blend (Murray Darling) The Chalmers family are true pioneers of Mediterranean varieties in Australia, and this co-fermented field blend is the ultimate expression of their biodiversity-focused "Mother Block" vineyard. Predominantly Vermentino and Fiano, it is a textural and aromatic white featuring notes of tangerine, pear blossom, and a hint of almond. It is dry and luminous, offering a gentle phenolic grip and a clean, saline finish. This is a versatile, food-friendly wine that showcases the bright future of Italian varieties on Australian soil.

Chateau Maris "Les Planels" (Minervois-La Livinière) From the first estate in the AOC Minervois La Livinière to be certified biodynamic, Les Planels is a sophisticated Syrah-dominant blend sourced from 35-year-old vines. The vineyard is surrounded by pine trees and Mediterranean heath, which translates into a complex aromatic profile of thyme, rosemary, and lavender. In the glass, it shows an inky purple hue, leading to a palate of sautéed black cherries, blackcurrant, and licorice. It is rich and full-bodied yet remarkably seamless, possessing a polished texture and a long, spicy finish of cold meats and black pepper.

Murdoch Hill Red Blend (Adelaide Hills) Crafted by Michael Downer, the 2021 Red Blend is a masterclass in cool-climate elegance, blending Cabernet Sauvignon with Merlot and a touch of Sangiovese. This vintage has earned high praise from critics, including a 93-point score from James Suckling and 92 points from the Halliday Wine Companion. It is a mid-weighted and savory red, showing layers of red currant, mulberry leaf, and dried tobacco. The acidity is "salty and fine," providing a refreshing tow that keeps the wine vibrant and disarmingly easy to enjoy.

Ladies Who Shoot Their Lunch Shiraz (Victoria) This Victorian Shiraz from Fowles Wine represents a departure from the traditional heavy-hitting style, leaning instead into the elegance of cool-climate viticulture. It features a lifted aromatic profile of wild plum and cracked black pepper, with a bright acidity that provides remarkable structure. Specifically crafted with food pairing in mind, its refined tannins and savory complexity offer a sophisticated drinking experience that pairs exceptionally well with game meats and earthy, mushroom-based dishes.

Hook & Ladder "Station Ten" Red Blend (Russian River Valley) Named after founder Cecil De Loach’s former career as a San Francisco firefighter, "Station Ten" is a bold and fruit-forward Zinfandel-based blend from the heart of the Russian River Valley. It exhibits a deep purple color with an explosive nose of ripe wild berries, black cherry, and baking spices. The palate is layered and lush, where flavors of black currant and raspberry lead to a long finish of spice and dusty cocoa. It is a well-structured and memorable red that captures the classic, generous spirit of Sonoma County.

Bottles are 750ml each unless specified otherwise.
