Jolete 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Quintessence Vineyard (Red Mountain, Washington)

This structured wine from the esteemed Quintessence Vineyard in the Red Mountain AVA pours a deep purple with a striking magenta core. It features an aromatic burst of black cherries, blackberries, and a subtle hint of nutmeg. The palate is full-bodied and punchy, balanced by earthy undertones and the distinct mineral quality typical of high-elevation Washington fruit. High tannins and vibrant acidity ensure a long, velvety finish.

 

Bloodroot Cabernet Sauvignon (Sonoma County, CA)
Sourced from a collection of prestigious vineyards across Knights Valley and Moon Mountain, this Cabernet reflects a warm vintage tempered by cool Pacific influences. The nose is highly expressive, offering notes of blueberry, cassis, and coffee, layered with savory undertones of sage and lavender. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied and elegantly styled, showing dark plum and cherry cola flavors supported by soft, grainy tannins and a long, fragrant finish.

 Spring Street Winery Cabernet Sauvignon (Paso Robles, CA)
This selection highlights the hallmark plushness of Paso Robles fruit, characterized by a supple and fleshy texture. Ripe black cherry and huckleberry dominate the palate, unfolding into complex secondary notes of dark roast coffee bean, leathery tones, and integrated vanilla from French oak aging. The low-yielding vines contribute to a concentrated mouthfeel and silky tannins that provide a smooth, approachable finish.

The Vice 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon "Batch #181, The House" (Napa Valley, California) Pulling fruit from six distinct sub-AVAs including Oakville, Atlas Peak, and Spring Mountain, Batch #181 is a comprehensive representation of Napa Valley. The nose is lush and toasty, featuring ripe dark berries and sweet spice. On the palate, the wine is muscular yet plush, displaying layers of cacao and tobacco leaf wrapped around a core of deep fruit. Each vineyard site contributes a specific element—from the structure of Spring Mountain to the vibrancy of Los Carneros—culminating in a long, creamy finish.
