In 1988, seeking to produce world-class white wines to complement their legendary red Riojas, the historic La Rioja Alta group acquired the estate. What makes this bottle so fascinating is its commitment to the traditional O Rosal multi-varietal blend. While most Rías Baixas is 100% Albariño, Pazo de Seoane combines Albariño with three rare local native grapes—Loureira, Treixadura, and Caíño Blanco. Caíño Blanco, an indigenous Galician grape that was once on the brink of total extinction, adds a lush, mouth-coating texture and electric acidity.
