Davis Bynum’s 2023 Pinot Noir from the Russian River Valley offers a vibrant and expressive profile, opening with ripe red plum, crushed raspberry, black plum, and toasty oak layered over baking spice, mineral tones, caramel, and a touch of licorice. On the palate, it shows concentrated strawberry and ripe red cherry compote supported by creamy texture and balanced acidity, finishing with elegant notes of cherry compote and toasted oak that linger with grace.  Food pairings that complement this wine include herb‑roasted chicken, cedar‑plank salmon, mushroom risotto, duck breast with cherry glaze, or soft cheeses like Brie and Camembert, all of which harmonize with its red‑fruit depth and subtle oak spice.
