From the Bournet-Lapostolle family of Grand Marnier fame comes one of Chile’s most impressive expressions of Syrah. Clos du Lican is sourced from a dramatic, granite-strewn mountainside vineyard in Apalta, just five kilometers from the legendary Clos Apalta estate.

The 2020 vintage is 100% Syrah, aged for more than two years in French oak. Rich and concentrated yet remarkably polished, it layers black cherry, blackberry and blue fruit with violet, white pepper, savory herbs and crushed granite. Silky tannins, vibrant acidity and an exceptionally long finish give this wine both power and elegance.

James Suckling awarded the 2020 vintage 99 points, praising its concentration, refined tannins and “ultra-long, fresh and ethereal finish.”
