This Month's Selections

Agerre 2025 Txakoli Rosé (Getariako Txakolina, Spain)
Produced along the dramatically steep coastal slopes of Getaria in northern Spain, this pale pink Basque rosé is crafted primarily from Hondarrabi Beltza. It captures the signature sea-breeze crispness of Txakolina alongside a delicate, effervescent tickle on the tongue. Bright aromas of crushed wild strawberries, tart red currant, and fresh citrus peel lead into a bone-dry, mouthwatering palate marked by a touch of saline minerality. Exceptionally refreshing and low in alcohol, it makes a brilliant partner for tinned seafood, fresh oysters, or classic Basque tapas.

Son d Sol 2024 Pedro Ximénez (Andalucía, Spain)
Moving away from the dense, sweet styles typically associated with Pedro Ximénez, this bone-dry white bottling captures the pristine, unfortified beauty of the grape. The 2024 vintage opens with aromas of yellow apple, white peach, toasted almonds, and subtle white floral notes. On the palate, it reveals a pleasantly waxy, rounded texture balanced by vibrant acidity and a chalky, mineral-driven finish. Crisp yet delightfully nuanced, it offers a fascinating expression of southern Spanish terroir that pairs effortlessly with roasted almonds, grilled sardines, or aged cheeses.

M.O.B. 2023 Lote 3 Red (Dão, Portugal)
A collaboration between three of Portugal’s top winemakers—Jorge Moreira, Francisco Olazabal, and Jorge Serôdio Borges—this cuvée showcases the elegant, mountain-influenced terroir of the Dão region. A field blend dominated by Touriga Nacional and Jaen, the wine greets the glass with lifted scents of wild crushed berries, violet flowers, pine needle, and subtle granite stone. The palate is medium-bodied, lithe, and energetic, featuring silky fruit texture and fine-grained, grippy tannins underpinned by a cool spine of acidity. Fresh and remarkably pure, it serves as a masterclass in modern Portuguese table wine.

Javier Sanz 2022 Paraje La Encina Bruñal (Castilla y León, Spain)
Dedicated to saving rare and forgotten native grapes, Javier Sanz presents a rare single-varietal bottling of Bruñal, an obscure indigenous variety native to western Spain. The 2022 vintage displays a deep cherry ruby hue with high-toned aromatics of fresh blackberry, red plum, dark cocoa, and lingering mineral notes. On the palate, it is fleshy, savory, and structured, combining juicy fruit density with a vibrant thread of natural acidity and integrated, fine oak spice. It is a compelling, distinctive red tailored for hearty grilled meats, cured sausages, or aged mountain cheeses.

DeLille 2023 Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (Columbia Valley, WA)
Capturing the remarkable balance of intensity and structure that defines Washington State wine, this Columbia Valley Cabernet delivers an inviting aromatic profile of cassis, crushed marionberry, sweet pipe tobacco, and subtle dried sage. The palate is rich and full-bodied yet seamlessly balanced, showcasing deep black cherry and ripe plum supported by firm, fine-grained tannins and a striking undercurrent of gravelly minerality. The region’s signature cool-night acid retention lends a bright, persistent finish, making it equally rewarding today or held for further cellaring.

Rabble Wine Co. 2022 Paso Robles Zinfandel (Paso Robles, CA)
Sourced from sun-drenched vineyards in Paso Robles, this Zinfandel leans into rich fruit expression while maintaining beautiful lift and balance. Vibrant aromas of jammy raspberry, dark plum, cracked black pepper, and toasted vanilla jump from the glass. The palate is broad, supple, and mouth-coating, filled with layers of juicy red and black berry fruits, warm baking spice, and a velvety oak finish. Smooth and generous without feeling heavy, it is an absolute crowd-pleaser that begs for smoky BBQ, braised ribs, or gourmet burgers.

Bottles are 750ml each unless specified otherwise.
