The Chook Sparkling Shiraz is a bold, playful expression of Australian winemaking that blends the richness of Shiraz with the effervescence of traditional sparkling techniques. Sourced from premium vineyards in South Australia's McLaren Vale district, it’s crafted using the Champagne's méthode traditionnelle, with base wines aged between three and five years in French oak before blending with younger Shiraz for freshness and vibrancy.
In the glass, it pours a deep garnet red with a lively mousse. Aromatically, it offers notes of blackberry, cherry cola, and licorice, with hints of mint, toast, and subtle smoke from oak aging.
