Fairvalley Pinotage (South Africa)

Fall is prime grilling season, and few wines are as good with charcoal grilled or smoked fare as Pinotage.  Shows bright red color in the glass, with smoky oaked spice aromas and intense dark fruit on the nose. The palate is medium-bodied, with notes of vanilla and coffee intertwined with well-balanced tannins that add to the flavors of spice vanilla on the finish.
