Winemaker Notes

In the glass, a dark, almost violet ruby color. The red-fruit aromas are accented by a generous bouquet of lilac and red roses, with crushed anise, vanilla, and a hint of kola nut. The palate is bold and juicy, with plenty of dark berries, herbs, and even cocoa notes, with silky tannins and a long-lasting finish. This is next-level Pinot Noir, with a rich, juicy, muscular appeal. Drink now–2028.

Similar levels of forest and spice notes emerge from this Pinot Noir, which shows the more focused, savory style of the 2017 vintage nicely. Plenty of black cherry, toasted bread, baking spice, and forest floor, medium to full body, and rock-solid overall balance all make for a beautiful Pinot Noir. It will keep for at least 10-12 years.
