Noah River Wines began as a personal passion project for Henri Gabriel, owner and founder of Advintage Distributing. Henri wanted to create a California wine label that delivered honest craftsmanship without the inflated price tags that often come with big‑name Napa and Sonoma producers. His inspiration was straightforward: partner with growers he trusted, work with a winemaker whose talent was undeniable, and bottle wines that felt authentic, expressive, and accessible to everyday wine drinkers.

To bring that idea to life, Henri teamed up with Jamey Whetstone, a Napa veteran whose background includes formative years at Turley Wine Cellars, time in Burgundy at Domaine Dujac, and the creation of his own acclaimed Whetstone Wine Cellars. Jamey’s deep relationships across top California vineyards and his commitment to varietal clarity made him the perfect collaborator. Together, they built Noah River around a simple promise: real California fruit, real winemaking pedigree, no pretense.
