Walnut Block Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc

For a number of years in the pre-covid days Walnut Block was our #1 selling white white, not just the best selling Sauvignon Blanc. For those of you who have been asking, the good news is that Walnut Block is finally back and as fantastic as ever.

The big boys in NZ that you find at the grocery store produce hundreds of thousands of cases of Sauvigon Blanc each year, but this small, family owned winery only makes around 5000 cases of wine each vintage. The grapes are sourced from the Sowman family's organic and sustainably farmed vineyard surrounding and ancient walnut tree, the inspiration for the winery's name.

Textbook notes of zesty pink grapefruit and gooseberry complimented by a hints of fresh herbs and nettles, passionfruit and backed by vibrant acidity.
