Coming from a site in Rutherford, the dense purple-hued 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Tietjen Vineyard boasts a big, sexy bouquet of jammy blueberries, tobacco leaf, dark chocolate, and graphite. These flow to a full-bodied, powerful Cabernet that brings the fruit and opulence while staying nicely balanced and seamless. This is the finest wine I've tasted from this estate.

The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Tietjen Vineyard is made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. Deep garnet-purple colored, it prances out of the glass with lifted red and black currants scents, followed by suggestions of ripe plums, fragrant earth and unsmoked cigars, plus a waft of dried Provence herbs. The full-bodied palate is chock-full of juicy black fruits with a soft texture and lively backbone leading to a dried herbs-laced finish. 125 cases were made.
