Don't worry if you aren't a fan of the featured wine, you'll get an email each month letting you know that it is time for the next installment along with the option to pause/skip the current case or cancel your subscription.

Babylonstoren Mourvedre Rose (South Africa) Babylonstoren crafts this dry rose from estate grown Mourvedre fermented in stainless steel to maintain freshness of the fruit flavors and then a portion is aged concrete eggs and clay amphorae for added complexity and body.  A light pink salmon color, with strawberries and rose petals on the nose. On the palate, a hint of watermelon and crushed pomegranate on the palate, rounded off with fresh acidity for a delicious, lingering mouthfeel.

Mi Villa Rioja Blanco (Rioja, Spain) - Composed of Viura, complemented by small portions of Verdejo and Tempranillo Blanco, it's a bright pale-yellow color with energetic greenish reflections. The nose is intense and floral, offering a bouquet of white flowers, green apple, and citrus peel. On the palate, the wine is clean and refreshing, featuring flavors of juicy pear and lime underscored by a pleasant herbaceousness. This vintage is fermented entirely in stainless steel without oak contact, ensuring the primary fruit and floral notes remain the focus.

Colome Torrontes (Calchaquí Valley, Salta) Sourced from estate vineyards at extreme altitudes reaching up to 10,000 feet, this Torrontes is the benchmark for the variety. The intense solar radiation and cool nights produce a highly aromatic wine with notes of jasmine, orange blossom, and fresh grapefruit. It is dry and taut on the palate, offering flavors of white peach and pear with a crystalline, flinty finish that reflects its high-altitude origins.

Tyrrell's Vat 1 Semillon (Hunter Valley, Australia) Widely considered one of Australia’s most iconic white wines, the Vat 1 is sourced from the finest Semillon vineyards on the Tyrrell estate, planted on sandy, alluvial soils. The wine is picked early to maintain a low alcohol and high natural acidity. It opens with aromas of lemon pith and lime zest, underscored by a characteristic mineral tightness. The palate is light yet incredibly intense, showing great length and a clean, citrus-driven finish that will evolve beautifully over time.

Bodega Cuarto Dominio Lote 44 Malbec (Uco Valley, Argentina) This Malbec originates from 45-year-old vines in the high-elevation district of La Consulta. It features a deep purple color and an aromatic profile of black cherry, vanilla, and mocha. The palate is full-bodied and concentrated, with ripe, silky tannins and flavors of blackberry compote and currant. A touch of sweet spice from careful aging adds complexity to the dense fruit core, leading to a plush and persistent finish.

Chalmers 2023 Mother Block Red (Murray Darling, Australia) This unique field blend is sourced from the Chalmers family’s "Mother Block" nursery vineyard in Merbein, featuring a mix of Italian varieties including Sagrantino, Nero d’Avola, and Aglianico. It is a vibrant, medium-bodied red that leads with aromas of red plum, sour cherry, and dried herbs. The palate is juicy and savory, offering a rustic charm with earthy undertones and a bright, refreshing acidity that makes it exceptionally food-friendly.

Delinquente "Roko il Vagabondo" Montepulciano (Riverland, Australia) Crafted by Con-Greg Grigoriou, this small-batch Montepulciano is produced using organic fruit and minimal intervention. The wine is fermented with wild yeasts and bottled with low sulfur, resulting in a raw and energetic profile. It displays aromas of dark plum, blackberry, and a hint of spice. On the palate, it is medium-bodied and "crunchy," with vibrant acidity and flavors of wild berries that lead into a clean, savory finish.

 

d'Arenberg Love Grass Shiraz (McLaren Vale, Australia) Named after the native "Love Grass" that grows among the vines, this Shiraz is produced using traditional basket pressing and open fermentation. The nose is complex, featuring scents of dark chocolate, beetroot, and black pepper, accompanied by ripe plum and blackberry fruit. The palate is rich and earthy, showing gritty tannins and flavors of licorice and spice. It is a bold, authentic expression of McLaren Vale Shiraz.

 

Domaine de Rombeau Ceramista Rouge (Cotes du Roussillon, France) This blend of Syrah, Grenache, and Mourvèdre comes from the pebble-strewn soils of the Roussillon. The wine leads with aromas of ripe raspberry, black cherry, and garrigue herbs. On the palate, it is smooth and well-structured, offering concentrated flavors of dark fruit and spice with a velvety texture. This is a robust and savory Mediterranean red that showcases the sun-drenched intensity of southern France.

Boekenhoutskloof The Wolftrap Red Blend (Western Cape, South Africa) A Syrah-based blend with Mourvèdre and a splash of Viognier, this wine is designed to showcase the spice and floral character of the Western Cape. The nose is intense with aromas of violets, cured meat, and dark berries. It is rich and smooth on the mid-palate, offering flavors of black olives, cardamom, and plum. The finish is smoky and persistent, providing a savory structure that is remarkably consistent.

 

Dominio de Punctum Lobetia Cabernet Sauvignon 1L (VT Castilla, Spain) This organically farmed Cabernet is grown at 800 meters of elevation, where cool nights ensure a vibrant fruit profile. It leads with aromas of ripe blackcurrant, plum, and mint, accented by a hint of vanilla. The palate is structured and full-bodied, showing a refreshing acidity and flavors of dark berries and mountain herbs. The 1-liter format provides exceptional value for a wine with such depth and persistence.

 

Pikes Los Companeros Shiraz/Tempranillo (Clare Valley, Australia) This "companion" blend utilizes the structure of Shiraz to complement the aromatic spice of Tempranillo. It displays a deep ruby color and leads with a fragrant bouquet of dark cherry, blackberry, and subtle notes of tobacco and cedar. The palate is medium-to-full-bodied, featuring a fleshy core of blue and black fruits supported by fine, dusty tannins. It is a balanced and approachable red with a savory, spice-tinged finish.
