WINEMAKER NOTES

The 2022 Christopher Michael Cabernet Sauvignon is a blend from three different growers in the Horse Heaven Hills. Fruit from Phinny Hill, on pedigreed vineyard land, provides ripe fruit and plush texture. The portion of the blend from Coyote Canyon contributes structure and an element of rusticity that are characteristic of Horse Heaven Hills Cabernet. And grapes from Fountain Farms bring an herbaceous note that adds complexity and freshness to the finished wine. These three are the perfect complements to make a wine that is simultaneously approachable and serious.
