This family has maintained their historic property for over a century, providing the foundation for this high-quality, handcrafted wine. The 2023 vintage is a blend of 96% Cabernet Sauvignon and 4% Petite Sirah, crafted by renowned winemaker Thomas Rivers Brown, who began consulting for the winery in 2021. The wine is aged for 18 months in 100% new French oak, a decision that enhances the wine's powerful structure and deep flavors, resulting in a low production of just over 500 cases. This deliberate, high-touch winemaking approach is designed to create a Cabernet that balances intensity with elegance.
